DHL GLASGOW GATEWAY
PROJECT OVERVIEW:
-
2 Panasonic VRF systems
-
2 DX Split Systems
PROJECT VALUE: £69,000 | CLIENT: Monument Contracts/DHL
Our client contacted us to provide and install a Comfort Air Conditioning System for their client, DHL, for a new build facility at Glasgow Gateway. Our brief was to provide a system which would allow the staff to control the temperature conditions within the building office space, enhancing the working environment for all. This was achieved by the supply and installation of Panasonic Air Conditioning Heat Recovery Air Conditioning systems.
Although there was an outline design, ProAir Conditioning Ltd, in conjunction with the client, had to produce detailed air conditioning design and drawings for approval, to provide the required services to the ground and first floor areas required.
The air conditioning works included the supply and installation of 2 No. Panasonic 3 pipe VRF heat recovery systems comprising of 15 No. ceiling cassette/suspended type fan coils along with individual remote controllers as required. The project included all pipe work, condensate and containment allowing the new installed systems to provide simultaneous heating and cooling to the required areas.
As well as the office space cooling and heating systems, the ground floor comms room had 2 No. single Panasonic wall mounted split systems installed to keep the IT equipment cool. These systems were set as Duty and Standby (N+1) to ensure even in the event of a system failure cooling would be provided to this vital area.
ProAir Conditioning Ltd engineers fully commissioned each system to ensure optimum system performance, providing much improved conditions for all staff within the office spaces of this building.
